Dr. Jackie Hollett-Caines

For over 10 years, Dr. Hollett-Caines was the Fellowship Program Director for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, supervising over a dozen fertility specialists as they successfully completed their final subspecialty training at Western.  She remains a distinguished member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Committee as well as the Examination Committee.

Dr. Hollett-Caines has authored or co-authored many peer-reviewed scientific papers and four textbook chapters. She is an Ad Hoc Reviewer for the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology and her particular areas of interest and research include:

  • Minimally Invasive Surgery for the treatment of:
    • Endometriosis
    • Uterine Septum, Adhesions and Fibroids
    • Menorrhagia
  • Ovulation Induction and In Vitro Fertilization Protocols
  • Recurrent Pregnancy Loss
  • Oncofertility

Dr. Hollett-Caines is a fertility specialist with The Fertility Clinic at the London Health Sciences Centre and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, the Schulich School of Medicine, Western University.

She completed her initial Medical Degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1999 and received her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology from The University of Western Ontario in 2004. After completing a formal Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Western Ontario, she joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in 2006 and is currently a member of the physician leadership team at the LHSC Fertility Clinic.
